To provide theatrical and interdisciplinary media performances and education drawn from African American traditions and experiences.
To bring awareness through theater, music, dance, and writing.
To highlight African American accomplishments and contributions to the arts.
WATERSPILL JUNCTION, INC. is a nonprofit organization that fosters artistic creativity. Based in Providence, Rhode Island, the organization’s mission is to serve as a confluence where various streams of creativity merge, aiming to research, write, stage, and produce artistic projects.
Under the leadership of Founding Director Rose Weaver, Waterspill Junction provides a platform for artists to collaborate and bring diverse creative endeavors to fruition.

Waterspill – where streams of creativity flow to a Junction – merging there to research, write, stage, and produce artistic projects that use the arts to educate the community about Black people, our culture, and history. As a Nonprofit arts organization, we were granted exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code in May of 1998.
